sunshine and spring.

i love this weather. its 58 degrees, breezy, and beautiful. the sun is shining. and my heart is full. there is just something about the way that the wind runs its fingers through my hair that just puts a permanent smile on my face and erases any worries or anxiety from my head. the last few days have been wonderful. yesterday i was coerced into letting my boys take pictures of me. my brother, cole, is a talented photographer. cole, andrew, and i had so much fun walking around in fields, chasing a goose, getting caught on nails and burrs and all other sorts of scary things that you just don't see in a breathtaking photo. but it was so much fun to spend time with my brother. he is such a blessing to me. my younger brother is learning to read. i love the huge smile he has when he discovers the spelling of a word. i am babysitting tonight. and i'm coming down with a nasty cold. can't. stinking. breathe. this has its advantages though. i changed two diapers today, and didn't smell a thing. fantastic. last night i went shopping and got a new shirt and a loofah. and some sort of shine treatment for my hair that no one in my family shares my excitement for. there's a bird's nest in the bush outside my window. apparently the bird isn't afraid of humans. its cute. well, i'm going to go drink some tea and take more vitamin c.
